Museum of Tourism and Botanical Gardens

Trauttmansdorff Castle is located just outside Merano/Meran. Once a favorite vacation resort for Empress Sissi, today the Castle is home to the Touriseum - South Tyrol's Museum of Tourism History.

The Castle is surrounded by the stunning, legendary gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, where you can admire blossoming nature from April to November.

Four different garden worlds are located on sunny hills and terraces and give home to palm trees, cactuses, rare tree types and ancient plants.

In summer, concerts are hosted regularly on the seaside stage.
