In the saddle through South Tyrol.

Did you know that in South Tyrol you can comfortably explore all the major valleys via cycling paths? The extensive network of bike paths connects almost all the main and side valleys, passing by wild and romantic rivers, lush green meadows, and fragrant orchards. Additionally, challenging trails and the zigzag of mountain passes make cycling with trekking bikes, e-bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and road bikes one of the most popular leisure activities in South Tyrol. Which type of bike would you choose for your journey?

Over Hill and Dale

Breathe in the scent of the forest, feel the breeze as you pedal through vineyards and apple orchard panoramas, and enjoy beautiful cycling weather almost year-round, from March to late autumn.

From challenging trails to winding mountain passes, or simply a leisurely bike ride along the paths for the whole family, in South Tyrol, every type of cyclist finds their personal joy on two wheels. Experience the diverse nature and cultural landscape of South Tyrol on varied cycling routes through the alpine-mediterranean scenery.

A paradise for racing cyclists

South Tyrol's mountain passes make your heart beat faster? The winding roads and natural landscapes at over 2,000 meters make road cycling here a unique experience. By the way, the 33rd edition of the Tour d'Ortles will take place on July 6, 2024. It encompasses the entire area of the Stelvio National Park, where South Tyrol, Lombardy, and Trentino meet, passing by the "King Ortler," the highest mountain in South Tyrol. The starting and finishing point are in Merano.
