On two festive Advent weekends, Schenna Castle becomes the backdrop for a very special Christmas market. Under the motto “Dishes with History”, visitors can enjoy culinary highlights from South Tyrolean tradition – lovingly prepared and inspired by old recipes.

The atmospheric experience is complemented by handcrafted specialties from regional producers, wonderful gift ideas for food lovers, and traditional crafts demonstrated live, just like in the old days. Children can also enjoy an exciting program that is sure to make their eyes shine.

In the atmospherically decorated Christmas Forest, from late November to early January, you will encounter enchanting characters: the charming mime Jordi, St. Nicholas & Krampus, Santa Claus with his faithful companion Knecht Ruprecht, and the lucky chimney sweep – all creating unforgettable moments.

At the turn of the year, the Three Wise Men wander through the forest – and on January 6th, La Befana casts her magic with her very own special charm.

On Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, the historic Schenna Castle will transform into a stylish meeting place for gin enthusiasts and connoisseurs. At the South Tyrolean Gin Festival “CAUSE I'M G&T”, the finest gin producers of South Tyrol invite you to taste, experience, and celebrate – all within a truly special setting: between the ancient walls of the castle cellars and the atmospherically lit courtyard.

DJ sounds & show program in the courtyard: until midnight
