Schenna Resort is located in Schenna near Merano in South Tyrol, in a sunny panoramic position above Merano with wonderful views of the Adige Valley. Its central yet peaceful location makes our resort the ideal starting point for hiking, culture and relaxation.

How do I get to Schenna Resort?

You can easily reach our wellness hotel by car via the Brenner motorway (Bolzano Sud exit) or by train to Merano. From there, Schenna is only a few minutes away. We are happy to organize a transfer on request.

Is parking available?

Yes, our guests have access to free parking spaces and garage spaces directly at the resort.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

  • Check-in: from 2:00 p.m.
  • Check-out: by 11:00 a.m.

Yes, Schenna Resort in Schenna near Merano has 5 e-charging stations directly at the hotel.

Billing is based on consumption at a rate of 0.65 € per kWh.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve charging stations in advance. Use is subject to availability on site.

 

Are there any other charging options nearby?

Additional public charging stations operated by the energy provider Alperia are located only about 2 minutes by car from the resort.

Schenna Resort consists of several buildings with different focuses - ideal for families, couples, guests seeking peace and quiet, and lovers of fine food.

Is there an Adults Only area at Schenna Resort?

Yes. Haus Mitterplatt is our exclusive Adults Only hotel in Schenna.

The building is separate from the other buildings and reserved exclusively for adults.

It offers:

  • its own panoramic restaurant
  • a separate wellness area
  • absolute peace and privacy

Guests of Mitterplatt also have access to all wellness areas throughout the resort.

Are dogs allowed in the hotel?

Dogs are welcome in selected rooms with advance notice. A daily fee of 25 € is charged.

Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or wellness area of Schenna Resort.

In general, each guest dines in the restaurant assigned to the area they have booked. This allows us to guarantee a clear structure, the highest quality of service and a harmonious ambience.

  • Panoramic restaurant at Hotel Mitterplatt: exclusively for guests of the Adults Only Haus Mitterplatt

This allows both families and guests seeking peace and quiet to enjoy a perfectly tailored culinary experience.

Are there alternatives to the included restaurant?

Yes. Hotel guests can dine in our à la carte restaurant LUMINIS at any time.

For guests who have booked half board, the following applies:

30 € per adult will be credited from the half-board price; guests can then order individually à la carte.

When is the à la carte restaurant LUMINIS open?

Restaurant LUMINIS is open daily:

  • 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday until 7:00 p.m.

It offers culinary moments throughout the day - from a light lunch to a stylish dinner.

Can guests also eat at the resort at lunchtime or in the afternoon?

Yes. Restaurant LUMINIS offers dishes at lunchtime and in the afternoon, available for an additional charge. Ideal for a relaxing holiday day by the pool or after a hike in the Merano region.

How can I get around South Tyrol without a car?

During your stay at Schenna Resort in Schenna near Merano, you will receive the Südtirol Guest Pass free of charge.

With this benefit, you can use all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge.

Which means of transport are included?

With the Südtirol Guest Pass, you can travel conveniently and sustainably by:

This makes it easy to reach towns such as Merano or Bolzano, as well as hiking areas and excursion destinations, without a car.

Arriving by car

Arriving by car is particularly convenient.

You can reach Schenna via the Brenner motorway (A22):

  • Bolzano Sud exit
  • continue on the MEBO expressway towards Merano
  • Merano Sud or Merano Centro exit
  • from there, Schenna is only a few minutes away

Free parking spaces and garage spaces are available on site at Schenna Resort.

For guests with electric vehicles, we also offer 5 e-charging stations directly at the resort (billing based on consumption).

Arriving by train

Travel comfortably by train to:

  • Merano railway station (the closest station)
  • or Bolzano railway station (organized transfer)

From there, you can easily reach Schenna by public bus or taxi.

We are happy to organize a transfer from the station directly to the resort on request.

During your stay, and also already for your journey to us, you can use all public transport in South Tyrol free of charge with the included Südtirol Guest Pass.
